Hi guys The handle is awesome! If you consider yourself handy, the installation is pretty easy. At the same time just a little thought though; The handle is made from stainless steel and because of that the thread is softer than the steel rifle bolt itself, especially for small allen key screws (it is very easy to strip them down). So as long as the bolt is made from hard corrosive steel the actual handle could be made from regular steel thus make it cheaper and robust on the threads Plus you have to make a sink holes in the bolt shaft to make them look nice and sunk into the handle Good luck

This handle is a great addition to the badace tactical low mount. It is easy to install and makes the bolt much easier to handle. I also like that it’s very low profile, no clearance issue with the scope.

Easy to install. I left the "stud" from the original handle a little long. This extra bit protruded from the new handle. I then peened it over to help lock in the new handle and make sure it could not come undone. After dressing it with a file, it looked like it was all one piece. Take your time, and use a quality threading die, lots of tapping fluid, and great results are almost guaranteed.

Incredibly easy to install. I would have paid more if it included the proper size die. The longer 3in handle is a nice fit . The only thing i wish it had a larger ball or a cylinder on the end.

Not that difficult to get a nice result. I bought a separate handle off gunbroker and saved money making my own bent bolt while preserving my original parts. Feels good and looks awesome!

Also installed close eye relief scope mount. Very sturdy unit. Mosin shot 2.5 group at 100yds and havent dialed it in yet. Both items are well worth the money

In my experience in threading this, I found that I had to go one size larger (M12 x 1.75)than the size given (M10 x 1.5)in order to be able to get it started (a little to small for the bolt handle). After that, it took just fine, got it threaded. Then put it together, perfect fit!

Took it to a gunsmith, 10min later it's on and locked down. Waiting to fire it
looks like a quality part but my gunsmith hasn't installed it yet sorry cant give a reveiw on it till i get to use it

This is a great fix for my bolt, I did heat it up and bend it out a little so it not right up against my stock, but not an issue. Really happy with this handle.
Arrived very quick took no more than 30 min to fit looks and works great trying it on the range this week, worth every penny very pleased 10/10
Great bolt handle! took no longer than 4 days to receive my package from bad ace. And within 10 minutes of opening the package, i had the bolt handle installed on my mosin bolt. Works great, and allows me to use a scope on my mosin. Better than the ATI bolt kit, and a lot simpler to install. Great product!!!

I first posted a 5star review after installing the bolt handle. Installation was easy and went as planned. Red locktite and the two small hex screws tightened. Unfortunately, after no more than 200 rounds through the rifle, the handle started to have some play as see. In the video. I tried to tighten it but the two hex screws are stripped. I now have no way to tighten and lock the handle back into place. I like the concept of a no welding required bent bolt handle, but it didn’t last much in my case at least. It’s still usable for now but definitely not ideal and not sure how long it’s gonna last.

Between the set screws not getting tight enough before stripping, and my gunsmith failing to do a good quality threading, I was still able to use it by welding. Would I buy this again? Perhaps if I take it to a more qualified smith maybe. But probably not.

The easiest to install bent bolt solution on the market - no drilling or welding is required and can be installed in 3 easy steps:
NOTE: Please note that a Metric M10 x 1.5 right-hand die is required to thread the shank and is NOT included. It can be purchased at hardware stores or Amazon.com.
Our unique design makes use of the shank of the straight bolt handle:
Using an M10*1.5 die, we can easily thread the shank and create a solid platform for the bent bolt that has an M10*1.5 female thread on one end and a ball head on the other.
There are 3 major advantages compared to other solutions:
- The bolt handle is perfectly vertical to the bolt itself, so you don't need to worry about the drilling angle.
- The bolt handle shank is 10mm in diameter, which provides a much stronger platform than the drill and tap method.
- Because the M10*1.5 threading provides a much larger surface, once loctited, it is very solid and is able to handle the hardest recoil.
Milled from a whole piece of stainless steel, the handle of the bent bolt is 3" long and is parallel to the stock in the close position.
This bent bolt requires only 1/2" (13 mm) clearance.
