Bad Ace low M1a Scope mount far exceeded my expectations. Was usint he springfield scope mount and having a "chin" rest even whit the archangle stock was rather disapointing. My M1a scout using this mount is now back in the original stock and accuracy is now down to .95" five shot group off a bench at 100 yards. It's the lowest possible mounting rail for the M1A and pretty easy to install too! NOTE: I've since moved the scope to an M1A; I had it on this SOCOM as a "place holder" till I bought the desired M1A

Works perfect, the previous scope mount was way off in elevation, causing it to run out of elevation. This mount allowed me to get full travel. Fits snug in the sight pocket, was zeroed at 100 in a few clicks, works great.

Great product! Easy installation and well engineered- grat use of M14 construction to provide secure connection plus horizontal regulation and secure locks. Thread glue included. Good solid mount. A lot of the other more expensive mounts use the rail on the side but I found that doing that often causes the mount to be just a tiny bit cockeyed. This mount avoids that without sacrificing sturdyness.

Mounted this on my Socom CQB. Fit perfectly. I did not need to remove the trigger assembly as the directions suggested. The roll pin for the rear sight mount is actually a set screw on this M1A.

Our 3-point anchoring design solves the following problems caused by different receiver manufacturers/standards:
- Slightly tapered left-side receiver surface
- Slightly incorrectly positioned left-side mounting hole
- The mounting groove on the left-side receiver cut too shallow or too narrow
- Slightly incorrectly positioned stripper clip guide
- Inaccurate stripper clip guide angle
The installation is easy enough for anyone with basic tools:
Inspired by the Springfield M25 “WhiteFeather" sniper rifle system, our design features three strong anchoring points.
Instead of having to modify the receiver, the BadAce version utilizes the clip guide dovetail channel by adding a steel T-nut that is self-centered once it’s tightened. This unique design accommodates small dimension differences from various receiver manufacturers. 
The BadAce M1A scope mount is centrally mounted to the receiver so that it is perfectly aligned to the bore.
The original M14 mounting system consists of two mounting slots and one threaded hole on the left side of the receiver. However, different receiver manufacturers have different tolerance on the slots and sometimes even the threaded size. This can create issues for some side-mounting brackets.
Our design is based on the more consistent rear sight base and the clip guide dovetail - this gives us a centrally-aligned mounting system. Also, the dovetail T-nut and the front height-adjustable set screw combination ensure that the scope mount can work on all receivers from different manufacturers and ages.
Our design leaves just enough space for bolt removal so you can still disassemble your rifle and clean it whenever you want. It also allows easy shell ejection.
The BadAce M1A mounting system features a low-profile design so you can mount the scope closer to the bore. Our M1A scope mount is CNC precision milled from 7075-T6 billet aluminum - one of the strongest aluminum alloy on the market.
NOTE: Traditional Picatinny rings typically use a single recoil lug at the bottom. However, we’ve found that some newer rings use two recoil lugs, and those are not compatible with this Picatinny rail. The rear (“tail”) section has only one slot due to limited space.

We (Ace Recreational Equipment and Services Limited) warrants our NDT Scope Mounts to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for as long as it is owned by the original owner. We will repair or replace (at our option) any such defective product when it is returned by the original owner with a copy of the original receipt. The repair or replacement will be without charge except for reasonable shipping, handling and insurance charges.
All other BadAce products that are not scope mounts such as carbon fiber handguards carry a 2 years replacement warranty.
