Purchased the SKS Micro Red dot mount. This was delivered 1 day ahead of ETA. Installed without any issues. This product is VERY WELL MADE!!! It fits and works very well. I am very satisfied. I just hope BadAce will have this readily available in-stock. I had to wait for 1.5 Months before I can order via their website.

The fit is snug and precise, the included screws are more than enough, and the overall build quality is excellent. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for a solid, well-made Red dot base.

After a dry fit and checking level and sight picture, put it together wit loctite and it is rock solid.

Installation was a challenge because my SKS (Chinese 1980 french tickler) had a stubborn retaining pin in the rear sight. Ended up having to take it to a gunsmith to get the pin removed. Gunsmith couldn't drive it out either. He ended up having to use a milling machine. BadAce promptly answered all my questions though. They did try to guide me through this pin removal. Haven't fired the rifle since installation but the product seems to live up to its reputation. Installation was easy once the retaining pin was removed. They send you everything required for installation except for a small level and the pin punches (only applicable for removing potential retaining pin). They also provide detailed instructions. The mount allows just enough room for stripper clips. So far I'm completely satisfied with the product.

Solid mount so far. Holds zero but I might have to use red loctite on the 3 screws securing the mount to the rifle since that area gets super hot and have had screws come loose. Will update when more testing is done

Very happy with my purchase of the BadAce Tactical low red dot SKS mount. Holds zero and didn't require me to permanently modify my rifle, which were the two most important things. I would recommend this to anyone looking to mount a red dot to their SKS, it's orders of magnitude better than any of those goofy railed dust covers or gas tube mounts.

I was so pleased to see you offered a non-invasive way to mount a red dot to my classic Russian SKS. I especially like the taper lock arrangement between the angle adjustment & lockdown screws, as this gives a very stable three point contact for the mount. Works like a champ! Thanks

This piece is perfect for keeping your optic low to minimize cheek rise and love that I can still easily load with stripper clips :D Would look so clean with a Trijicon SRO, but still works mint with the Riton PRD that I have in stock. This is the one! Having owned almost every iteration of optic mount for the SKS, I feel that this mount takes it to the next level. Super solid mount with excellent installation hardware and instructions. In my opinion this really makes the SKS into a much more viable self defense firearm.
It's a good product but I'm having issues with it unfortunately. I had to purchase additional screws that could accommodate a Romeo Zero red dot sight as the provided ones didn't work. Once I had installed I found that the SKS bolt was ramming into the heads of the two screws on the underside of the mount, breaking loose the mount itself. So I needed to buy flat head screws to avoid that bolt collision. It's a good product but the screws provided just weren't sufficient.

Our SKS MRD mount features the lowest profile mounting solution on the market and allows fast loading with stripper clips.
It also comes with the spring steel shell deflector that protects the optic from being hit by the empty shells - which is a must if your shoot steel case ammo.

Installation tips:

We (Ace Recreational Equipment and Services Limited) warrants our NDT Scope Mounts to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for as long as it is owned by the original owner. We will repair or replace (at our option) any such defective product when it is returned by the original owner with a copy of the original receipt. The repair or replacement will be without charge except for reasonable shipping, handling and insurance charges.
All other BadAce products that are not scope mounts such as carbon fiber handguards carry a 2 years replacement warranty.
