Sehr einfache und reversible Montage. Habe ein Vortex Crossfire montiert. Nach einigen Schuss 8x57 noch alles bombenfest. Für normale ZF oder Drückjagd-ZF nicht geeignet, da zu geringer Augenabstand. Dafür gibt es die Montage mit Picatinny auf der Kimme.

This is a well-made product. It was easy to install using the provided instructions. The scope is a 3-9x50 sitting in medium height rings and I think I could have used low height rings due to the taper on the front of the mount. Looking forward to more range time with this classic K98K.

Loved it it was an easy install just haven't had time to get to the range yet but I have no doubt it will work fine the other one I had bought for my mosin nagant carbine is still in holding strong with all the recoil that one puts out.

This rifle is quite accurate, much more so than my aging eyes. It is a 1938 BSW kar98 with perfect numbers, so I definitely didn’t want to drill and tap it for a scope. The BadAce Ultra Low-profile Mauser K98k NDT Scope Mount picatinny rail mounted easily, gives me a solid platform for my scope, and affords enough clearance for insertion and tightening of my Erma 22 caliber insert when desired. A great solution for those wanting to keep their Mauser in mint condition. One hint: as 1.5 mm pin punches are fragile, try drifting the rear sight pin out from both sides, as mine went much easier in one direction.

Fast shipping, and easy installation! Great and solid product! Be aware though... On my norwegian rebuild M98K F1 the "pin" on the rear sight was not a pin at all. I just had to press down the whole rear sight (in its natural 100m position) and slide it backwards.

Absolutely amazing company to do business with. The rail mount for my Mauser fit perfectly had it at the range put 30 rounds through the rifle and mount never moved at all. The mount is superb! Strong, steady hold and is easy to attach to rifle. I haven't had any stability problems whatsoever. This is a great way of attaching an optical without damaging the rifle. Came to Finland in a two week, installed it on IDF 7.62x51 convert: Kahles/Photonic ZF95. I had to file 0,2mm, no movement after install. Sighted rifle in at 150 meters and after 100 rounds no movement.

Directions on how to remove the original rear horn sight without damage was great. Install took about 15- minutes total. But I did need to use some longer Metric hex bolt and nut with spacer washers to get it fitting Very Tight and Very Well Centered.

HOW TO IDENTIFY YOUR RIFLE (NOT all Mausers are K98k):
Mauser K98k has a short handguard that is approximately 7 inches long and is in front of the rear sight. The rear sight base is 3.5 inches long.
We strongly encourage you to remove the rear sight leaf following this illustration image or the YouTube installation video above to confirm that your rifle is indeed a K98k before placing your order. If you are not sure what your rifle is please check this FAQs page first. You can also contact us for future help.
NOTE: How to remove the rear sight retaining pin
Not all models' rear sight leaves have a retaining pin. You should be able to see the retaining pin sticking out a little bit from the head of the rear sight leaf if there is one, such as this one:
The retaining pin is slightly longer than the rear sight leaf - this is to prevent it from being pressed down and removed. So, if your rear sight leaf has a retaining pin present, you must punch it out first.
Some models don't have retaining pins, such as this one below:
If that is the case, you can simply press down the rear sight leaf and remove it.

The repair or replacement will be without charge except for reasonable shipping, handling and insurance charges.
All other BadAce products that are not scope mounts such as carbon fiber handguards carry a 2 years replacement warranty.
