See these before and after photos. Restored an old M1 Garand and wanted to add a thermal scope for pig hunting. Didn't want to make any permanent changes to the stock or the receiver. This was the perfect solution. And it fits beautifully and works perfectly. Look out wild boar! Here I come.

Mounted the Badace Red dot base on my M1 Garand with no issues. My old eyes were having issues with the peep sight on the old war horse. Much easier to shot and see the target. AND the M1 Garand is NOT permanently changed. I can put the stock rear peep sight back on at any time. This is why I changed it out with the Badace platform.

Mounting system works great and was easy to install. Be careful as Garands need scope with more eye relief. My 3x green dot could not mount far enough back with 1inch relief. Still playing with scopes to see what works best. Rectangular reflex seems to fit and look the best, but the M1 really wasnt made for a scope anyway. It will never look correct, but works well inside 100yds.

Target acquisition is much faster over the forward scout picatinny on my socom 16. I'm averaging about four extra pigs a week simply because of faster acquisition. In the grand scheme of things, that's a lot over the course of a year. The fit and finish is top notch and the rearward weight transfer is a welcomed bonus. This has been a wise investment and a game changer for me! I'm a fan.

Installed two on M1 Garands ... Installed Vortex Viper Red Dots ... Fit and Function were perfect ! Rifles shoot well with out any changes in Zero . I would recommend them to anyone who wants to mount a Red Dot on the Garand or an M1A.Great Product

Just to be clear, it comes with a mount you use for a micro red dot, or you can attach the supplied pic rail to the mount and run a classic (albeit shorter) scope. Anyway, rock solid mount for my HOLOSUN - HS407C-X2. Put it on a rack grade Garand and it got it zeroed and it has held up well so far. Really turns the Garand into a fun rifle to shoot, and brings it into the 21st century. Thank you for making this mount!
